WHO IS DR. LINDA AIKEN?
As an internationally renowned Gator Nurse researcher, Linda Aiken has dedicated her career to advancing the nursing profession and health care. Dr. Aiken, who has often been referred to as the “Florence Nightingale of our time,” follows in the footsteps of her mentor and the college’s founding dean Dorothy Smith, who was named a Living Legend in 1996.
